Principal K. Eric Thompson

K. Eric Thompson is the Principal of Pfaff Elementary School.

The 2022-2023 school year is Mr. Thompson's nineteenth year in public education (fourteen years as a building administrator and five years as a teacher).  His service in education began in 2004 as a middle school Social Studies teacher in the Downingtown Area School District in Downingtown, PA and continued as Assistant Principal at Warwick High School in Lititz, PA.  Mr. Thompson has been a part of the Quakertown community since 2011, serving three years as Assistant Principal at Strayer Middle School, four years as Principal of Pfaff Elementary School, and four years as Principal of the Sixth Grade Center.  Mr. Thompson returned to Pfaff in July 2022.

Born and raised in Coatesville, PA, Mr. Thompson completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, graduating magna cum laude in May 2004.  At Eastern, he majored in History and Secondary Education and served as the teaching assistant to the university's chaplain.  He completed post-baccalaureate studies at Villanova University, earning a Master of Arts degree in School Leadership in December 2008.  At Villanova, he was honored to pass the university's rigorous Educational Leadership Comprehensive Written Examination "With Distinction" and he was selected as the College of the Arts and Sciences' "Student of the Semester" in the spring of 2008.  Currently, he is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University.

Mr. Thompson lives locally with his wife (a former high school special education teacher) and their four children (a son in seventh grade, a daughter in sixth grade, a son in fifth grade, and a two-year-old daughter).
