Several TSA students qualify for states

Secondary students competed in the TSA Region 5 competition. First-place finishers included Rylan Dauter, Ethan DeAndrea, Viktor Durr, Logan Hudson, and Mason Lippincott.

TSA logoQuakertown Community School District high school and middle schools had several students qualify for the Technology Student Association state competition following Saturday’s Region 5 competition at Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Meeting.

“We are proud of our members and how well they represented Quakertown,” said Chris Deily, who advises TSA students with Jeff Bonsall, Dave DiGiacomo, Julie DiGiacomo, Andrew Evan, and Jeff Seip. “They performed very well.”

One highlight was middle school students capturing 11 of the top 12 places in Dragster as Sixth Grade Center students Logan Hudson, Colin Ievers, and Corbin Day captured the top three spots.

QCHS first-place finishers included Rylan Dauter (Senior Solar Sprint), Ethan DeAndrea (Structural Design & Engineering), Viktor Durr (Structural Design & Engineering), and Mason Lippincott (Photographic Technology).
